I was wondering what software the engineers design in??? Is it possible that i could get a 3-D file of my mower? I.g.e.s., step etc. I wanted to give that striping kit a crack, i'm assuming there is not enough room behind the mower deck, but would like to try none the less.

I have heard the name of the software we use, but I cant recall it at this time, sorry.
I am also pretty sure they will not release any of the files they have, its like Fort Knox in that department... lol....

Most companies these days don't just supply CAD data of their designs. Too much time invested in the design work to give it out for free for people to copy. This is proprietary keep in mind. Data that they DO give out is normally just overall dims and 2D prints. No 3D solid models.

Yes, I realize most companies think they have the next greatest thing and don't want to give it out, but I really wan't a striping kit and no offense P.J. but the one offered from Hustler is lacking to say the least. I'm not surprised at all that gps_jetskier's friend is having lots of problems. If I were to improve the current striping kit I would gladly send it back for Hustler to manufacture , not really a big deal and I think it would be a simple design. Without the 3-D data it will just take me a little longer to measure with my calipers, so either way I have the 3-D data sitting in my garage. LOL

I'l let that poor design comment go. Everyone can read the other post, but I'm sure you'll have to bust out your calipers. Good luck. When you're done, I'd like my copy in step file or igs please. LOL.
