Just remembered, when I was a young teenager, I used to mow some grass at the dairy farm up the road. There was a little pile of hay laying in the yard, right as I ran over half of it I looked down and saw a softball sized hornets nest. I was on a good sized JD hydrostatic riding mower. Pushed the lever to full speed forward, engine bogged until I killed the pto. One of them stung me on the back of my arm. Hit a hornets nest mowing hay last year also... enclosed cab would have been better.

I ran over a phone connection box. somewhere along the line my tire ended up with a slit in the side.

Hit a property stake (metal rod) and jacked a spindle. That's been it.

I ran over a bow saw yesterday.

Went directly over it and only noted it because I stepped on it as I passed over it.
"HOLY SHIP!", I thought. I was lucky as it passed right between the wheels and was low enough not to be caught by the blades.

I sat it on their patio. When I was finished, the owner came out and asked if I had left my saw on the patio. ???
Apparently the neighbor used it to cut back a tree that was growing through the chain link fence and left it there. Nice.
