I have the same exact mower. I love mine. The 17 kawi is a great fit for the machine and rarely bogs down. The tru-trak is the most comfortable sulky on the market, however it does get a little bulky on small yards, but then I just fold it up and walk. Mine hasn't given me any major problems. Mine cuts nice, but the SFS deck is nothing special and not nearly as nice as the turbo force. My advice would be to buy it if it is a good deal. Be sure to ask me if you have any other questions.

Yea, Ive noticed that it has been on craigslist for a while, any ideas of what could be wrong with it? what would you pay for it?

I had a SFS and did not like it as much as the previous deck. I have a 40" Turbo Force now and it cuts great. I would pass unless the price is really great.

Agreed. THe sfs does a great job bagging, but discharging it doesn't chop up the clippings enough. This isn't a huge problem unless the grass is really long. Unless it is a steal, I would try to find something with the turbo-force deck. JMO Good luck!

What blades are you using on your SFS deck? I have a Toro with a SFS deck and it came with medium lift blades which cut for crap, so I put gators on it and discharge and it doesnt do too bad but I have to double cut in thick stuff to chop up the clippings one more time but it would turn out nice. Lately I been thinking about buying a set of notched High lifts just for the hell of it to see how they do.
