Oil leak
I have a 52" Exmark with what appears to be an oil leak coming from some type of sensor on top of the engine just under the air filter plate. It is a plastic sensor with a wire attached to it but has a aluminum ring around the plastic which i imagine screws down to keep the sensor in place.. hard to tell if the oil is coming from the bottom of the sensor though... any one know what this sensor is for?

If it's a Kohler engine (dont give so much info next time), that MIGHT be the oil pressure switch. They have had a small issue with the vendor (if it's a fairly new engine).Other wise just replace it. Very inexpensive. Just don't over tighten it. It's a tapered thread.
