Hydro belt on Sentar sport

My 52" Sentar sport popped the hydro belt off today. Any ideas why. The mower has 95 hours.

Mrplowcjc,

Did the belt pop off but is still useable or did it actually break. Check the conditions of the pulleys make sure there are no dings in the edges, how does the idler pulley look in relation to where the belt is running on it? Did the belt pop off during a turn? There is an optional idler arm (95490005) available that will reduce the tension on the belt if it appears to be a tension issue, though this will usually show up as belt breaking not popping off. Sometimes it can also be a stray piece of debris that went into the belt area and managed to get between the belt and a pulley.

Best Regards

Sometimes debris (sticks mud etc.) can get caught up in the belts as stated above. Sometimes this debris will get wedged down in the pulley and make a high spot on the pulley that could throw the belt. Just an idea ...
