Best Blades for Exmark AS 60" Ultracut?
What are the best replacement blades for this machine? I
I mow about 4 acres, some fairly thick and alot of tough weeds in some places. I don't ever bag or rake. Any opinions out there and what the best blades are? Thanks! |

Factory notched high lifts but J-Thomas knock off do about as good but the metal isn't as good. I've had terrible luck with any Gator type mulching blade including the Mamba even though there are those on Lawnsite that swear by it. Take the high lifts off any you will probably see more missed grass, especially when you cut higher.

haha MAMBA!
i do like it better than the highlift but it it doesnt cut quite as good as the hilift you wouldnt notice unless you ran it back to back, which i have. mamba seemed to disperce the clippings better hilift cuts better but leaves serious clumps in really tall grass. im buying exmark gators this week to give them a try. then i am off to fusion land where the prices are high and the expectations are low!haha
