Problem with siding

I washed this house in late summer 2008 using 2.5 gallons of 12.5% chlorine, 2.5 H2O, 3 scoops of Simple Cherry, and 12 oz of f13, from pressure tek.

The method was to apply solution with pressure washer and let set for 15 minutes. Siding was then scrubbed with soft bristle brush and rinsed with washer and/or garden hose.

The weather was warm but not sunny.

This spring the owner approached me about the front of the house which faces south. The siding has what appears to be different shade. I don't think anything is on the siding. The siding which is not "stained" is chalking. The darker colored siding is not chalking as much.

Siding is 20 yrs old, not all shutters were removed when washed.

Is this problem one that I created with the washing?
Could this be a hard water issue?
