Sell Echo for RedMax?

i'll add that ive been stopping at dealers alot and checking everything out and the stihl fs90 sures built solid , if it had a handle like a redmax i woulda bought one

instead my next whip is the redmax bcz3001 29.5 cc at $390 ,
exactly like the 22.5 cc 2401 redmax , but bigger engine

If I thought I could ship it easily, I'd sell you mine. It's already "broke in" even. If you have the magic touch to make them run then you are better than me!

Spark arrestor screen came out before I pulled the cord the first time. Pretty sure It's not carboned up as it was having the same issues when it was brand new as it did with about 20 total hours on it. About the time I got fed up and shoved it into the shed. this one dealer told me that since they went strato charged that they changed the carbs in order to make the emmissions work . and that carb change over can be a ***** . he said the carbs are so tricky they stopped rebuilding them and just put in new carbs because half the time they rebuild them the carbs still toast

i didnt even notice you bought the 3001 because you used different number , is yours 29 cc

if so i might just back off my purchase

yes thats the one . i guess that puts stihl back in the mix

I Just have a good redmax dealer down the road !!. Every thing I buy now will be red max !!!! So it all boils down to the dealer !!
I have run Redmax for 2 years now and no problems but not having every thing red max. The guys complain when they have to use the others.
ps SORRY to hurt all the Echo guys but that stuff sucks.

ive never ran stihl besides my awesome stihl chain saws

but ive read alot here and ide bet alot of money the fs90 and br600
are both first or second favorites in their categories

and i really like how the fs90 is built , solid and light with decent cc's .
but i dont like the fit and construction of the stihl back packs , i'll
take my redmax 7001 backies any day because they run great / powerful / rock solid construction / fit my back perfect so i can hustle . so ide just say try the different back packs you like on and walk outside and jump up and down a little bit and check the fit out on them . and i dont like the throttles on tube , i prefer throttles on the fold down handles . so thats another factor to check
