Direction while trimming/edging?

I noticed the other day that i always trim / edge walking backwards unless going along a fence, just curious to see which direction the rest of you guys walk while trimming.

Walking backwards gives you more precise control of the head. ie. no scalps. But walking forward is alot easier

Along fences, or "angling" along beds, I walk backwards.

If I "90" sidewalks or beds, I walk forward.

When I'm moving from one part of the lawn to another, I walk forward, unless I'm trying to get out of a conversation with the customer, lol, then I walk backward to give them the hint.

I get the best cut with a string trimmer going right to left (backwards).

I hate walkin backwards, only if I have to I will. I'm a lefty, and have the trimmer on the "driver" side of me. Works better for me, both trimming and edging.
