DO NOT use for printing!!!! RIP OFF P.O.S.!

Nothing worse than bad press and I mean to give it to them. I just got done distributing 10k doorhangers from them of which I am now receiving calls that they are sticking to customers' door. I go out, sure as hell stuck like glue. I use soapy, hot water, plastic scraper, and peal them off and the UV coating remains. end result, I look like an idiot and the customer is pissed.
I call them, and there's nothing they can do. Basically tell me it's impossible. UV coating will not do that, etc. OBVIOUSLY it does if I have people complaining about it. If it were 1 or 2, I would chalk it up to something unexplainable. But it's more like a dozen. They were packaged in 250/pack and they were not out of the package for more than 3 hours. They were doing 80-90/hr. Never handed them out on rainy days so mositure isn't an isssue. It has been in the 80's but I was told heat would have no effect on the coating, and even if it did it has no place being on a doorhanger if that's the case. I paid double the price for these hangers to have a non fadable, somewhat moisture proof, professional flyer. I am very happy with the appearance of the doorhanger, but definitely not about it sticking to the door. They assured me multiple times on the phone they WOULD NOT be held responsible and give me even a partial credit. So I said "If you can't give me SOMETHING, then rest assured I will spread the word of your customer service." They said "well in all actuality an order for 10k doorhanges isn't exactly going to make or break our business..."

And that folks is what you get with

And I don't mean to break the bad news but they're right on the 10k.
However, their attitude will!

Thanks for the warning.

You hate them but gave them a backlink to their site? Dough!

The UV coating isn't necessarily a coating to block UV light, it is sprayed on then cured with UV lights in the factory. It sounds like the UV light might have been burnt out/defective when they ran your fliers and thus the coating was never properly cured.

If the fliers cause property damage you may be able to pass the monetary responsibility to them.. but you would have to decide if you have the funds and time to battle them over it. Sometimes it is cheaper and less work to just fix it yourself.

As far as embarrassment, yeah, you just gotta eat that one.
