3 guys with axes chopping into the stumps on an angle ,
hitting them like 2" below surface . probably only take 5 hours to chop and gather the stumps . so whatever per hour times 15

Find one in your area I can promise it is faster then digging them up, I would get the medium size grinder that is self propelled though the one pictured is the small one have a guy with a steel rake follow you and you will be done in no time.. http://www.sunbeltrentals.com/Equipm...070&catid=s364

i own a vermeer sc252 grinder and a 1" stump would be better ground out then tore out all you have to do is go straight down with the head and rake it back in and ready to seed. much cheaper and more effiecient way to go. less mess in the end and easier work to level it out.

Simple, a good sturdy tow chain and your truck. Just put it in 4 low and let it roll forward a bit and it should just pop right out.
