I also would like the app/software used. But we use route sheets mark date of service and put into quick books.

I have made customer worksheets for each property. It is basically a page with customer name and address at top and lines across the page with the first part of the line for the date and then the rest of the line for what exactly was done to the property.

Customer Name..................................123 Any St CC FL

...........Date:......................................................Description:

________________............ _____________________________________________

________________ ........... _____________________________________________

________________ .......... _____________________________________________

You get the idea. Take out the periods, had to use them, forum wouldn't let me have blank spaces. It is simple and works for us. We never have to guess what was done last week or even 2 months ago. If a customer calls with a question we can pull it out and know exactly what was done.

I also write down time on property, cut height and so forth.

I use a daily route sheet that my crews fill out with the property name and amount of time and # of guys on the property. The next morning i enter it into a master log that I have made up for the month.

I use Real Green. Each day we print a driver worksheet which contains a route (which has been optimized by Microsoft map point) for the lawns we need to do that day. We post production every couple of days for the lawns that have been mowed. At the end of the month we print a one month history statement and mail it our customers. Easy as pie.

List for the week on a page in a notebook broken down by days for what I want to accomplish each day
Circle the yards I did
End of the day take the list and put it on the customers invoices
End of the month print and mail

This is the way my old boss did it
I see no reason to reinvent the wheel
