I had my outer filter plug up in four hours of harley raking last summer; first and only time I've ever seen the filter restriction warning on my machine.

Man I hated that place. Than again, besides Ft Bliss, that was the only desert I visited.

Yeah that's Cat Motor Graders. Most likely 12G, that's what most mil spec graders are.

Resurecting this thread. I guess we got a tank trail about 1.5 mile long that was started up at Ft. McCoy that needs to be finished funny thing is we got a weekend in Oct to do it. I kind of hate it when we have to come in not knowing what the site looks like but judging that its Ft. McCoy more sand, wild temps, and more bugs. Anyways we got most of our heavy junk back from cali off the train.
The D7's all clean and rusty.

Some of the 916's

The 2 20ton dumps that made it threw Cali, the other 6 are sitting next door as AMSA getting fixed and if I recall whats wrong with them one the third axel doesn't raise, another had a battery fire, PTO doesn't disengage, blown differential, and 2 with failed water pumps.

Getting ready to move up to Ft. McCoy next month greasing trailers.

Oh and another from Cali that makes me grin.

29 Palms (stumps) sucks no doubt. I spent a lot of time there. Those A framed quanset huts suck bad when its 120 degrees. I have humped a lot of miles in that desert.
