Somethings need to be left unspoken.

This is one of them.

You pretty much committed agg. Robbery and admitted it upon an open forum.

Is it robbery if you are robbing something that is rightfully yours? I would hope not, but who knows.

Wow thats a good story, and I'm glad you got it back.

I had a friend that worked at a music store and was a drum teacher. He had a band and they kept their stuff at a storage unit. He had a very rare purplish Rogers drum kit along with the rest of the equipment. Well one day they went to the unit, and the lock was busted and everything was gone. Then, when he was working at the store one day, a guy comes in and says that he is trying to sell a drum kit. He then provides a picture of it. My friend looks at the picture, and sees his stolen kit. He tells the guy, yea why don't you bring it in, we'll take a look at it. So the guy comes back with the kit, and some of the other stolen stuff, they wait for him to bring it all in by himself. Then my friend and some other workers block the guy in, and my friend says, here's the deal, this is my drum kit, I know you stole it from me buddy, and you're in deep sh!t. You bring back everything you stole and we won't turn to the cops. They did end up getting most of the stuff back, but they called the cops later, and I don't know what ended up happening.

My dad also worked as a house remodeler for years, and would buy ladders, ones that looked just like the ones that were missing from the house, from the neighbors every other day.

Personally speaking I like the way you did that, I don't particularly care for folks taking the
law in their own hands but then the police never does anything either, good thing you left
it the way you did, I think it could have got ugly had you beat up on him.

I am assuming, of course, that you're 100% certain that is your trimmer
but I did give the benefit of the doubt there.

I'm guessing you were joking lol
But I can't help saying OJ walked into a business with a loaded gun, video cameras rolling now.
And OJ had also a bit of a, how should I say it, a criminal history?
OJ would have been best off staying low for the rest of his life, and it might not have been the perfect
millionaire's life he may have wanted, but I believe he also may have failed to consider the alternative.

I was talking about post #12-"Is it robbery if you are robbing something that is rightfully yours?"

didn't he and some other guys steal "his own trophies" or some crap like that.?

Yeah but when OJ went to get back what were supposedly his own trophies...
He walked into a museum with a loaded weapon to do that, right in front of
security cameras and everything.

And I'm not 100 percent in agreement with this post either,
personally if I want my stuff back I go by myself and unarmed.

After all if it's mine and the thief took it he shouldn't have a leg to stand on, that's all I should need.
Technically you can't even threaten the thief, but I am certainly not hindered
by the law to go where my stuff is and just take it back, assuming it's really mine.

If a thief takes something out of the back of my truck then I just go over to his place and take the same stuff, tit for tat.
What's the thief going to do?
Beat me up?

And it might still be taking the law into my own hands somewhat but the chances of it
blowing up in my face are considerably less, because if anything doesn't go the way it should,
had that glock been used or the cops by some wild chance popped around back of that store in this story,
things could have got ugly quick.

Now it's all good, I'm not being but so critical.
