bermuda grass invading fescue lawn...

what can be done about this?

Most of my lawns are being taken over by Bermuda grass. It only grows in the sunny areas. If you have it in one small area, you can spray it a couple times with vegetation killer and replant the area. For control you can use Turflon Ester. There are some post on Bermuda problems under the Pesticide and Herbicide section.

Nope. It's like a disease, once you get it, you got it. Unless you kill off the whole yard there's not all that much you can do and even then it will still come back. Bermuda is the Abrams tank of grass, excellent survivability, looks real nice when it is in top form, and if you see it coming towards you, you know you're screwed.
It's not the equipment that makes a professional, it's the operator.
