Timecutter - Lower Deck Height

I have a Toro Timecutter Z 75030 with a 50" deck. The lowest height it is speced (out of factory) to cut is 1.5". Found when I balanced front to back and dropped it to the lowest setting it was cutting at 1.5" but at about 2". To get it to cut at 1.5" I dropped down the front but of course now it is no longer leveled front to back. I would like to cut it even lower - around 1". Is there a way to do that? Can I drill a couple news holes and lower the entire adjustment bracket to accomplish?

No, Toro does not ever recommend modifying a product. If the angle is changed more than it was designed for it will put undue stress on the belts and other items.
