Kubota TG1860

I have about 4 acres to mow, somewhat hilly. I may also do some slight snow plowing.

Is the Kubota TG1860 a good choice for me? From what I can gather, the advantages of this tractor are the 54" deck and the fact that it's liquid cooled.

Any thoughts? Am I getting TOO much of a machine for what I want to do?

A good choice for what you want to do. These are suited for
large homeowner applications. I've used Kubotas commercially
and found that the decks tend to start cracking at 800-1000hrs.
Bear in mind that this is during HARD commercial work.
I don't know about snowplowing (we don't get much here) but
they are an honest mower.

P.S. I you want to stripe your turf then get a ZTR as the tractor style mowers will drive you nuts if you try to stripe with them.

Purchased a new TG1860 diesel in 2000., which is mainly used by my wife. She mows the "yard" portion of our 4 acres and I mow the field , rougher portions with my Cub 7265.

I can assure you, one would have to fight to take it away from her! This is one grass cuttin machine I'm tellin ya! I am amazed at the power, cut and speed of cut.

I use it to cut the areas that are harder to get into with the Cub, as it has a loader and the TG1860 not only whips the work, it's a pleasure to operate.

We could not be happier!
