HELP!!!! echo pe-260 edger

need help, machine starts fine, as soon as i give it gas it stalls right out... blade isnt spinning at all, it has no friction. i have replaced carb, cleaned exhaust. everything it would seem logical to do ive done.

Is the blade able to be turned by hand? Can you feel any friction that might be binding in the shaft? Just a guess.. may be bearings worn out in the shaft or a bad clutch.

Try pulling the gear head from the shaft. Does it turn freely? Could it be a broken clutch spring that doesn't pull the shoes back away from the drum. Bad/old gas, in need of a new fuel filter? Just some guesses here...
