WTB - Light used Z - 48-52" Deck

Looking into a light to medium used Z for next season. I am located in the Upper Midwest, Rochester MN area. Let me know what you have.

Looking to invest around $4K. Please don't come at me with an 08 Turf Tiger for $8K, not interested.

I have a 07 toro z400 with just over 250 hours on it. It runs and looks great. Nice cut and perfect size. I an the only operator of this machine. It has the 48 inch 7 gauge deck with a Kawasaki 21 horse with the heave duty air filtration. I was looking for $3000, but people are telling me its real low for the hours, but if you would like to jump on it, Ill keep it at that price!

rcs- I am listening.....BUT where are you located first off? I would be willing to drive a few hours for the right deal.

I know the 7 gauge deck is different than the Turboforce. How does your deck perform in dewy tall grass? Also, do you get striping effect out of the deck? I am used to the clean cut my Quick gives me and pride myself on cut quality, so need to know that your deck cuts very clean and doesn't plug. Also, do you have pics??

It doesn't have the adjustable baffle on the deck like the turbos, but it does stripe very well on its own. As for the dewey grass, it seems to do well. I do know that mowing at the right height, it does not shot large clumps of grass out. I am working on the pictures as i do not have any camera at the moment. And i am a little away from champaign, IL. My zip is 61864 to give you a better idea.

rcs - you are at quite a distance to me. Not sure that this would work out....unless you are willing to put in some miles as am I.

Sure, I understand. As far as meeting, that is not a problem. my fuel would be the sellers responsibility though, as the mower is already priced very reasonable. i would not mine driving at all though, and am working on some pictures tonight.

I have a walker 56" deck that I would let go. It was a second back up. It has 1850 hours. Kohler v twin. I am in the cities.

I had a friend snap some pics, but haven't heard from him, so i will try to get them up this weekend. if i new it would of been this hard, I would of waited till I had the pics! lol
