The free one only let's you carry 20 customers....the one that cost $99 allows you to carry 10,000 customers...I upgraded to Simple Start 2010 yesterday. I am having trouble importing my data from the 2008 version.

They have changed it since I got mine. Mine is.the same as what they are now selling for 99. Now I see all the free ones are online versions.

All I use mine for is to keep my financial data in so I can just hand my accountant a file at the end of the year, I actually run my business from gopher.

Thats the same exact I do. QB for the finances and Gopher for the scheduling etc.

I purchased the QuickBooks Pro for a 100.00 and got like three free programs with it.(Credit Card, Payroll, and Website Creator)

You must have an older version...I also have the 2008 free version on my desktop PC and it lets me carry more than 20 customers.....when I bought a new laptop for my business this year it had Simple Start Free Edition 2009 and it would not let me carry more than 20 customers....thats why I just sucked it up a bought the 2010 for $99 for my laptop.
