I found these videos on YouTube, from an Exmark Dealer in Ohio.
He compares the Navigator to a Walker, and a lot of the things he says makes good sense! There are 4 parts to this entire 28 minute video. Please watch all 4 parts before making comments.

Yes, it was a little one sided... but the information is good!
I loved it when they used a brand new Navigator, against a Walker which has seen it's better days!! LOL
Sorta like those commercials for weight loss... the before photo the guy is not smiling, gut hanging out, bad posture etc... and the after photo where is is OBVIOUSLY sucking his gut in, has a big ol smile, and is standing up straight!!

Yeap, they should have used a new Walker for the comparison!!

BUT, I'm still a little concerned about how long it will be around.

video

Here's one by Exmark.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiIeV...eature=related

Exmark is commited to the Navigator. It is taking market share from Walker. Like I've said a million times, Exmark isn't trying to put walker out of business, they are trying to offer their customers a mower of that style.

This guy's video is on point. Hits everything on the head and bascially backs EVERYTHING i've ever posted and said. So I guess I'm not full of it ey?

Covers many of the things i've posted pictures of a few years back.

35% of the dedicated bagger market is now going to Exmark. For you scoring at home, .......that's about 3-4 out of 10 machines sold.

hey tallimeca:
Have you seen anybody modify a deck off an older one ('05) to have the adjustable baffles like the new ones have? I looked at mine, and it kinda looks like something that could be done. That way I may be able to slow down the filling during the hot months when growth is down. And maybe even make a baffle so I could kinda mulch. Ever thought of that? May be a winter project for me, I don't know yet tho.

yes

exmark has a kit for it. I have one sitting on my floor I got for a customer who bought an earlier unit from us that wanted to try it. Comes with a template, you have to drill 2 holes for the bolts.

The new decks have threaded blind nuts built into them to make it a little easier but not like you are gonna change this from lawn to lawn.

I'll post the part number for you tomorrow.

They do make a mulch kit for the navigator if you so choose. I've only ever installed 1 that I can remember. Customer used bagging for spring and fall, and mulched the rest of the year. Mower was dedicated to a business park.
