landscape contractor license in NC?

Hello everyone. Can someone help me with this, please. I'm in NC and am a newer company. Trying to everything right and saw something I wasn't sure about. In getting a business license with the state, do you also have to become a licensed landscape contractor? I will also be billing much more then 2500 per client per year.

If you do $30,000.00 or more of landscape work (materials, labor, etc.) in a year, you will have to have the landscape contractors license in NC. Once licensed I think you have to take 7 credits per year of continuing ed classes. The states agriculture website has all the details on this license procedure.

Yep, doesn't pertain to lawn service or maintenance. You would only need this license if you do $30,000 total or more of landscape related projects in a years time. Mulching, new installs, hard scapes, etc..... I guess you have to be licensed for just about anything anymore.
