ExMarks new stander

I just tried out Exmarks new stander mower at the expo and think that's my next new mower. Only 48" and 52" this year with either a 20HP or a 24HP Kaw. Pretty nice mower. They said the next year (2011) they will also have the 36" and the 60".....

ok, cause next year is 2010, hahaha. It's in the dealer programs to order, just no price as of yet.

The 48 and 52 models will have either the 20 or 24 hp kawi. I'm guessing they would jump up a bit on the 60......

Speculating the price will be in the 8500 range.

There's a call for it, that's why they are building it, but you could buy a 25hp 60" Next Gen Lazer for that same price. I'd rather sit......haha.

OK..........sorry to confuse you, but yes, your right, the 48" & 52" will be ready for the spring of 2010. The 20HP & 24HP Kaw is your choice.

I'm sorry, I didn't think to ask what would be on the 36" & 60". There were some things that I questioned to Steve Peterson (Regional Sales Manager for eXmark) like hose's rubbing up against the back tires, a jack to jack it up to clean deck and change blades, etc.... He reminded me that they were just in the demo stages and that all the bugs would be worked out before their release.

I called my dealer when I got home about the price and they told me the suggested retail price was $7599 for the 20HP 52" & $7999 for the 24HP 52" but they always sell for a little less.
This is all the info that I have at this time...

Really you get an extra HP on the exmark models???? Maybe I'll have to pick up an exmark in 2010.

I think its just because they are coming out next year. Kawasaki is going nuts changing like their entire engine lineup so HP figures are all out of wack.

Like Ferris has their Evolution with 36 and 48 decks I think with a 27HP kawasaki on the 48". For next year a 52 is coming out with...a 26HP....bigger deck, smaller engine wtf. LOL.

Federally mandated emissions rules has forced Kawasaki to phase one engine series and build a new one. Hence the different engine hp. ratings. One thing, the canister air cleaner system is not available on the new engines as of this time.

I have a 48"/24 HP on order. According to my dealer I will actually be able to take delivery in February sometime.

I want to say I'm paying about $7600 but to be honest I can't remember exactly what he quoted me.

Any chance someone has a photo of the 48" so we can see how it differs from the Grandstand?

Also, the 20hp engine seems a little down on power vs the grandstand, which offers 23hp.
