I am older than I look. I can collect social security soon. So I am planning to sell out and also don't need Permagreen Ultra and 400 gallon skid spray setup. Click my name and look at the pictures.
Well buddy, congratulations. If I ever said anything intelligent, helpful, or civil on these boards it was partially to emulate people such as yourself. You make a great contribution here and help set an exemplary tone.

I am sure many here will join me in wishing you a long and happy retirement. The Grand Rapids area will surely miss you and your service. Please continue posting here.

Speaking as an old golf course hand, I would be happy to pull hose for you in the rain at no charge - not only for what I might learn and the experience I might gain, but for your companionship.

Its been my life--working for others for 9 years, and then and then myself since 1988. I have been thinking about grass, weeds, customers and fertilizer every day for a long time. I loved the independence and enjoyed the people I met along the way.
But it will feel good to slow down and not have to work when its too cold or too hot.

congrats on your retirement!!!! Don't be a stranger to the site.. I still have a few good years left in me I think?? but wonder when the day will come that I know you know its time.. my plan is to just downsize as I need to and keep working as long as I can because I really enjoy the work, people and being outdoors. plus in this business you get winters off to go someplace warm! and you cant fish or play golf all the time!!
