Anyone have work in Brookline, MA?

http://wbztv.com/local/brookline.lea...2.1289640.html

....The machine must also operate below a 67 decibel level.

"The fine is a $50 fine for the first offense and a $100 fine for the second offense," said Lt. Harrington.

Residents and landscapers can get their leaf blower inspected for free at the DPW building at 870 Hammond Street in Brookline on the first and third Tuesday of each month through the end of the year.

They'll have to pay to get it tested after that.

Check the ratings of your blowers online...many of the red max blowers are 70+

....I guess everyone has to cry about something lets hope no other towns get this idea...

thats insane...people need to relax. how long out of the year will you hear a blower? maybe a couple hours next door for one day? usually when people are at work because you are also at work and its your job. Aside from the fall and maybe spring you might hear the blower for 5 minutes once a week if your neighbor has their lawn mowed. I can understand the time restraints but a full time limit on the decibel level? Sorry folks move to Utopia or Backwoods USA. Theres got to be something we can do to fight it
