I'd give maybe 10 to 15 percent of the original value if I were somehow convinced (unlikely) to even consider buying a used trimmer. You'd be surprised at how good I can make a 10 year old trimmer look.

I ran across a couple of used Redmax BCZ2601S at the dealer's about a month ago. They looked to be in good shape, this was before they were cleaned up, and the asking price was buy both for the price of a new one. I passed but someone bought them the next day.

I do buy used trimmer or blower. I prefer to do my own damage. I don't even buy used cars. I rather buy a new one and keep it good and use it for 20 years!!! My Volve is 1991, over 220K and still ticking!!! Never sold an old car that worth chit!!!
