John Deere 717 a (FLEET OF 7 MOWERS) Decks brand new!!!!

We are selling our fleet of mowers. They are all in perfect running condition. Some are a few years older than others. Prices range from $3000 - 4500. None of the mower decks have ever been used except to demo the tractor when they were first being sold to us. We purchased all these tractors new from the dealer. Ever since we've owned them we've performed preventative maintenance and done so probably overkill. We only used them to spray weed control and spread granular fertilizer on lawns. All they were used for was driving around. The PTO switches were used to turn our spray pump on and off not to run the mower deck since the mower deck was removed. some of the tractors had a few cracks in the frames on the front due to weight stress from the fetilizer hopper we used on them. However, we've since repaired all the stress cracks and painted them, remounted all the brand new mower decks and tested them all. They are ready to run!

If you are thinking of starting a mowing business and need some quality commercial grade equipment on the cheap this is your chance!!! Call us today to come and have a look.

why wouldn't you just use a ride on spreader? you "cracked some of the frames"?? thats pretty hard to do..... right tool for the right job... but good luck with your sale anyways.

Ride on spreader??? Thats what these were? These tractors served us well for over 4 years and were the best investment we've made in years. This was definately the right tool for the right job. When your average size turf area is around 20,000 sq ft you need a large hopper. These John Deere tractors were about the most rugged ones we could find for our application. What do you use for a ride on spreader???

You bought 7 lawnmowers..... and modified them to be a fert spreader/sprayers.... cracking the "frame(s) " . One mower I looked at only had 600 Hrs? These should not have to be replaced under normal use, mowing with good maint. for 2000+ hrs. I'm sure they paid for themselves time and time again over the four years, but with such low hours... Permagreen, Turfco, Z Spray, Lesco??? Units designed to spread and spray... Most offer stand on , I'm sure there are sit on applicators out there too.

don't really want to be a pain in the a** just wondering.....

obviously, this member has what looks to be a successful company , and has found a way that works well for them to spread and spray. I just thought taking what is designed to be a lawnmower and turning it into a spreader is not correct, especially when you damage frames. Buy some dedicated fert spreaders..... Most mfg's would let you demo there unit for a month... if your're going to buy 7 machines......

Anyways , with a new mowe rdeck and less than 1,000 hrs..... 3500 is a great deal for those.
