2009 is in the books!!!!!!!!!!!

All work is done, All Christmas cards are mailed, and just recieved last payment that was due. 2009 was the best year for my business. It will be hard to beat in 2010 but I am already starting to work on next year. I hope everyone had a good year.

My season is finished as well...still a few payments outstanding but they will send it soon I'm sure (regular clients)
Just cleaned and winterized my mowers and blowers today and got them tucked into their winter home (garage) before the rains and possible snows, this weekend come a knocking...next, gotta hook up the plow and move my leaf trailer to the plow's summer resting spot...Had the flu since day after turkey day and it has sucked...

Now that's funny, you know, your year is over and you're starting 2010....
And mine doesn't end until well into January...
I'm sure some, their year rolls all the way to tax time.

Yet it's not like the work ever ends ...

that is relaly impressive about all debts collected already, we will have rolling into january before we are paid in full, there are some that always stretch the bill out at the end of the year,

All work is done, bills sent out yesterday, first complaint about bill on machine today. Be lucky to have all money's collected by Febuary. It really is a wonderful life!

Closed out 2009 lawn services last week. All invoices in the bank.

Have deposited first month on snow contract as well

Did clean ups today for customers who called last week. Still have one to do, but I don't think mother nature is going to allow it! Snow in the forecast starting tomorrow night, so taking the leaf box off tomorrow and setting the truck up for plowing.

I too am all done. I'm just waiting for a few more payments from some clean-up customers. I should have all of them in by next week. The mowers are cleaned up and put away for now. I had one call come in today from a weekly customer to see if I could come out today and do one last run over the lawn to pick up anything that blew on the lawn, but the truck was in for repairs all day today so I couldn't do the job. This year was an okay year, probably about the same as last year.

We are supposed to get some lake effect snow for the next 3 days, so I doubt I will have any more calls for clean ups coming in.

My season is done too. Already collected all payments except from a clean-up job or 2 but i wont have to worry about them. I did a little over double from last year, and am setting a goal to double again next year. Now just have to ride the winter out. Hope everyone else had a good season!

Sent out the monthly invoices also, and got one complaint so far about how much the leaf cleanup was. I'm sure there will be a few more this year.

Nobody seems to pay on time on their last invoice.
