I talked to the dealer that sold him the mower today about this motor. His honest opinion was that there was no motor on the planet that he believed to be more reliable than the kubota diesels. Said that he doesnt have any problems with the daihatsu diesels and he actually thought that pound for pound the daih. seemed to actually have a little more grunt. He said that those little kubota diesels have just proven themselves year after year and that to him is the number 1 diesel engine that comes on these. So for what thats worth to everyone he said there great motors but he prefers the kubota engines.
