Grinding sound from chevy front end.

I have a 1994 chevy 1500 4x4 with the 305. I recently developed a grinding sound when I make tight turns to the left or right. I think it may be the cv joints. Any ideas?

Could be. Not too likely. A grinding noise may be from the tire rubbing against something or sticking calipers or a dead squirrel skull lodged somewhere. Go to the "car talk" section of www.cars.com .
You can do a search on issues relating to noises.
