I see you know Conyers Welding also. You can attest to their quality.I need to look into the Aaron's trucks. I am going to buy in about 3 months. I may have missed it, but where in Commerce did you get the truck?

Aarons Corp. 706-336-5999 Commerce - Right outside city limits 1 mile off interstate. They have about 35 trucks. There should be quite a number of trucks for sale around Atlanta this winter due to the economy.

Thanks. Do you think they may have an 18' w/o a lift gate or are they all 14' trucks?

Man maybe its just me but a decent stick welder is $250 tops, steel's cheap, why not get creative and build one yourself?

Welding is so simple think of the money saved building your own.

I wish we had a welding section on this site I'd throw up pictures of all the things I've built or fixed.

I'm starting a dovetail next year for a friend we might even go with hydraulic ramps and all.

A chop saw and an angle grinder are your primary tools needed, fab work is so easy doing it yourself and worth it.

Get the FRR (new they are now called FTR), I hear its the truck to have. Its got the 6 cylinder diesel with a 6 speed allison auto plus the cabs got more space almost an extended cab.

GVWR is under 26k so no need for a CDL at least in my state. I think its worth the extra money.

The expensive Super Lawn Trucks could probably help you with the ramps. Here in Fort Worth, Tx there is a place called Industrial Power that works on and sells these trucks. They have a 2006 with low miles that already has the ramps with a 2' dovetail. Only asking 19,000. (for those looking for a truck)
