They've lost to San Diego in the last seconds a few weeks ago, so they're looking forward to a rematch against them.
And as far as the Colts are concerned, Manning can't pass too much with the Bengals pass defense being as good as it is; they'd be forced to run.
And vice-versa...likely Carson Palmer would be shovel passing to Cedric Benson or Larry Johnsion & have Cincy's awesome offensive line pry open plenty of nice size holes for them.

An AFC playoff game between the Colts & Bengals would very likely come down to the run sooner rather than later.
And even though it'll be played in a noisy dome with nasty Indy fans, giving the Colts that '12th player' edge', I like Cincy's strength & overall depth in the running & return games, overall.

But we'll see.....................
Oh stop already as I was reading your post I laughed so hard I spit coke all over my screen.

The Colts aren't the only team in trouble.
You saw Cincy last night.
Patriots have lost their absolute best receiver.
The Ravens have made it but are riddled with injuries.
Looks like almost all the AFC division leaders are struggling into the playoffs...except the Chargers.
San Diego & the New York Jets are the two teams with momentum right now.

Over in the NFC the Vikings & the Saints are stinking it up.
I wouldn't be surprised if Green Bay goes all the way.

I'm pretty sure the Bengals to a certain degree at least laid down for the Jets last night in order to not play the Texans here in Cincy next week, because of the drumming Houston gave them last October.
They sat out Cedric Benson to "rest", and there's no way that offensive line was giving 100% effort to protect the QB.
That game was planned to be thrown once Marvin Lewis knew the outcomes of the earlier games.
But what the Bengals didn't plan on was a complete blow-out 37-0.
That's why they didn't start Ochocinco, then put him in later, to try to patch up a disaster in NBC prime time.
The Bengals didn't try to win the game, but at the same time they wanted to put forth a decent showing, and instead they gravely underestimated what the Jets can do.

Can the Bengals beat the Jets in Cincy?
Vegas thinks so right now.
If they get healthy enough in time & practice outside this week!
