Our website for lawn maintenance

Tell us what you think.

http://www.patslawnservice.com/

I hope this doesn't get moved, seems like not much traffic on the website discussion page.

Thanks

looks good. You give some info as to what you do, and why you do it. I would however, take the "testimonials" part out untill you get one haha. No one likes to see a blank page when they click on it IMO. Otherwise good job!

The site is pretty basic, to be honest. And as far as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), it's pretty much hopeless. But it depends on the purpose for the website.

If the purpose is to use the website to FIND new customers (via internet search), then you'll seriously need to start learning some SEO tactics. If it's more geared toward just giving your existing customers something to look at or giving your potential customers (who have already contacted you some other way) a way to learn more about your company, then yah, it works for that too.

I agree - you seriously need to get some testimonials up there.

I think if you really want to kick it up a notch and have a really impressive website you could. But you'd need to hire a better web designer.

Overall, it's not bad. Nothing really negative about it. Just not as sharp as it could be. And all the common SEO stuff is pretty much non-existent.

hey lewis, you site is nice, and your work is great. as far as the thread starter goes, it is clean and informative, but basic. try adding more real work pics so we get a better understanding of what you can do for us as a customer.

Yes it's basic, that's what we wanted.

As far as testimonials, it's DECEMBER, we just launched the site. We plan to e-mail our customers and have testimonials well before spring.

As far as SEO, we are still working on that also.

We hired a webdesigner and he ripped us off, the site he designed looked like a 3rd grader did it.

My wife did this site, I think she did great considering in the past 3 months my dad and my bro in law passed away, our son has been in the hospital. Not to mention my daughter and myself have been sick, and my wife has her own on going health problems.

Thanks for the CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

Hey site looks great, I wouldn't really work on SEO too much, unless you just want the whole world to hire you. But I would list your website at the bottom of your business cards and trucks, that way your customers can see your work. But nice looking site.
