Well, the sun is shinning here but it's ONLY 29.

I'm going to let it get above freezing before I go fishing.

If it's going to make it to 42 like the weathermen are saying it sure better get busy.

Yesterday was COOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

Launched about 1 or so, wasen't too bad until the sun went down, that's about when my feet went numb.

Ony one Red caught all day, the guy I fished with landed a nice 24-25" slot Red.

It was sloooooooooooow.

Planning on going again tomorrow, going to be much warmer.

Had fun, cold but fun.

You had to tag one of them? Whats that for? After you tagged it you still got to keep it?

Ahhh, wasted 20 bucks in gas today running around to different boat ramps around here and everything is locked up frozen!! I can not take anymore pics of you guys catching stuff this time of year. I could drive my dang truck right off the boat ramp onto the ice, we're along ways away from doing any fishin

In Tx. you can only keep Reds that are 20-28", under 20" and over 28" you can't keep.

When you get your fishing license there is a tag that comes with it. The tag is for 1 Red over 28". You can turn that tag in and get another one. so you can keep two Reds over 28" a year.

Yes, you can keep it IF you tag it. I have heard of guys getting tickets for having Reds over 28" that were not tagged.

evry picture i seee of yours are fish on a stringer. I was just curious. I rarely keep fish. Most sportsman up here rarely keep fish. So it just looks odd to me thats all.
