I think everything is over regulated these days. Need a lawyer with me fishing so I know all the updated slot limits closed areas and closed periods for each species. Oh and dont forget mandatory venting tools and circle hooks if you bottom fishing in federal waters. Good idea to have them.....but mandatory.....come on leave us alone and let us enjoy the day on the water.

Did something different yesterday, went fresh water fishing for White Bass.

Had a blast, fishing was slower than we had hoped. Four us did manage to bring home about 55 fish, the limit on White Bass is 25 per person.

My wife cooked 5 of them tonight, MMMMMMMMMMMM GOOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!!!!!!!!!

Those are stripers. We have some great Striper fishing here in SC in Lake Hartwell. I wil fish a few times a year for them. My boat is more of a ski boat than a fishing boat but I make it work. Best time is in winter of all times. I think the state record is 60lbs or so. I have caught a 14 pounder and it was fun as all get out! Free lining a blue back herring. Now I want to go fishing.

no, those are white bass not stripers. Dorsal fins are close together and the big hump behind the head is also a giveaway. Mant do confuse a young striper with a white bass though.
