Had a blast today, weather was great, sunny and about 70 with light wind, not bad for Dec.

Headed back tomorrow to the same place. One more day of good weather before the next "cold front", it's going to be in the 50's instead of 70's for a few days.

Man, I love the south.

Today was very slow, only 3 rat Reds, no keepers, no Trout, no Flounder.

Guess that's why it's called fishing and not catching.

Oh well, there is always next time!!!

What part of south La. do you live in?

I'm on the Tx/La border and have thought of getting a La license.

I went deer hunting saturday and sunday as a group we got 2 10 point bucks, 1 8 point buck and one doe. i had shot 9 times at a total of 4 doe and 1 buck as they ran by me. I missed every time because i bought a terrible red dot for my shotgun that you couldn't see the red dot in the snow and sun. 2 doe were about 15-20 yards in front of me and the buck was about 20-30 yards away when I first shot. I easily could of had 3 deer but I could not see the red dot so I was aiming with nothing. I could see one bullet hit the ground between the front and back of the deers legs. Overall I was mad because I missed some deer and my red dot was a POS. What other red dots should I look at.
