New to the site and thought I'd see what kind of fishing everyone does. I usually try to get out a couple times a week when the weather is cooperating. I do mostly salt water but do some freshwater also. For salt I fish for striper, blues, fluke and porgies when I am up north. Does anyone else fish the Long Island sound frequently, I usually go out in the Faulkner Island area if anyone knows that area. Also usually go down to florida for a week or two every year to fish the keys and farther up the gulf out of cape coral. Anyone else fish these areas, if so what are you getting out of them. Also Attached an image of some fish we pulled out of the Long Island Sound one day last year.(Blues and Stripers)

lol my usual username is cabokid...to bad you didnt go its safer there at 2am then cities in mass at 4pm...white marlin? hmm i do know ive caught just about everything else there...i know that "TOWN" better than one 5miles from me.

We will eventually go...maybe next year. As far as the white marlin go, one of the guys that fished on my buddies charter boat for the White Marlin Open last year said he goes to Cabo every year for the whole month of February and catches tons of them. I thought he was full of **** too, until he showed me pics.

i know they are there so isnt everything else "gods fishbowl" thats my dream stay there for the whole month...where does he stay..i have been staying in san jose del cabo ..i go every january..got some good connections there!!

Not sure of the exact location, but i know it's not far from here...

That's cool, we will eventually get there. We chartered out of the Dominican Republic last year and were deep sea fishing in Aruba last week...so it's all good.
