Should be Nice to have Sub Forum on Pricing of common used products..

Each month you could post pricing to put pressure on wholesalers to be competitive? I mean If you have to buy a ton of fert to get any kind of break in price.. would be good info..

yeah, maybe. but it may be just wishing more than reality of the situation. very good info for us to use, but then again it would be very subject to location and pricing varies alot in that respect

As a supplier, I have to say that price depends upon quantity, location, and quailty.

Why would I want to share my pricing so my possible competitior's could take advantage of my quantity/discounts?

I want to use that against them...not help them reduce their input costs!

Am I crazy for thinking this way?

No clue on others, but so far where I buy the prices are locked in untill 2010 (end) and are low..At least where I buy.

Sure... as long as you wouldn't mind a concerned consumer to get bids from every lawn care company in your area and post your pricing to the web for your competition to see?

I don't think your crazy.

A person just has to go out and price shop from all the suppliers in their area and get the best price. If you want to haggle to get them lower that is your option or right.

If you go out and buy a new car you have to shop around, so is it any different.
