Does anyone use the quickbooks (intuit) website hosting? How do you like it?

online about QB hosting people are saying

"(1) Basically after installation the server just failed to host the file. We keep getting H505 Error, but I walked through the fixes at KnowledgeBaseArticle 1005295 and there was no solution. Each workstation that tries to open the file just barfs the H505 error stating that the file is not ready from the server in multi-user mode.

(2) There is a link in the server screen for upgrades but it goes to a non-working URL on some Intuit server. Although we are using a PC server the URL specifies Mac, but it does not work anyway. I've done a totally clean reinstall of everything but I continue to get these errors. "

I would go with GoDaddy hosting. They offer windows and linux hosting, its relatively about the same price as Qb hosting (QB is 4.99 a month). Sometimes Godaddy is cheaper... sometimes just like a dollar more.

GoDaddy also guarantees "99.9% server up time" which is very hard to find.

unless your a big Dog, I wouldnt buy that crap, it is the biggest money sink hole I ever worked with. If your big time you need it because of the money flow. Peach tree is one and a couple others I could look up. But I can program excel and I do all my 30k on paper sorta.
I rather pay myself than intuit; same with my equipment.

But the bigger you become your time is worth more than turning a wrench or book keeping, so you hire someone or buy a program, quickbooks makes you buy the updates every year to keep you hooked like an addict.
you keep investing to keep your investment. sad but true

We use GoDaddy for all of our websites. Great prices and you can always call them to ask questions. Some other website hosting services are located in other countries and you cannot contact them if there is a problem.

I highly recommend GoDaddy!

Good Luck
