Towing small equipment with a walk behind?

I am planning on getting some more lawns in my neighborhood this coming year and I would like a simple way to tow small equipment (blower, trimmer, tarp, etc) with a walk behind, so that I don't have to spend 10 min. loading the trailer for a job that's less than 1 min. away.

I could...

Make/ Buy a trimmer holder to hold the trimmer on the side of the mower, and strap the blower to the front.

Use a small trailer to tow equipment, maybe make a stand on the trailer to use as a sulky to stand on.

Any other ideas?

Just mow those neighborhood lawns on the way out on your route.

There exist on my Wb's near the very back on the sides, 2 holes, one each side.
Through these holes I stuck clevis pins secured with hair clips.

Now whenever I need to tow something I just hook up a chain to either or both by slipping a clevis pin
through a link, clip the thing back up and then hook whatever needs towed to the chain.

Would be nice if I had a better picture but here's the pin you can see it on one side,
obviously there's another pin on the other side...

Thanks for the picture topsites I think understand how the chain hooks up, but what do you tow with the chains??? A trailer or are you talking more of dragging a tarp on the ground?

That's a home-made striper. I guess you could hook a chain to it and pull just about anything. Towing with a WB is awkward. I'll use mine as a leaf plow, but I have no reason to tow with it.

Again, spend the extra 3 minutes to load up your trailer. You'll look like a scrub walking down the street with a bunch of crap piled on it and towing a radio flyer.

Assuming your walk behind is the Scag in your Avatar you could easily make a trimmer rack that runs from the top handle area to the deck. You caould also make a little mount for your blower on the deck. Just don't make anything so permanant you won't be able to maintain your belts and stuff. As far as towing a traile with a WB even if you made one that did work your customers may think your crazy and have second thaughts about having you around

Yeah, I already messed around with the design of a trimmer holder and just used a few dowels to make a rig to hold it, worked decent, but not at all final, I also bungied down the blower and it held decently well.

Yater: Thanks for all your help, but I can't drive (teenager) and the reason for doing this is also to prevent my parents from having to drive me (and pick me up) every 30 min.

for lawns on my street i do them on my way out or after i have finished all others and am headed home. or i just lay the trimmer and blower on top of the deck and drive it down there. theres no need to use a triler or make racks just for a short trip

What I do for in neighborhood yards I just drive the mower with the push mower trimmers, edgers and blower in the utility cart in my sig line to the yards. Since most of my yards are close enough to just drive the mower to it doesn't make sense to spend time loading up the truck just to go a few houses down.

Clean cut what you could do is to just hitch a utility cart to the hitch for your sulky and just stand on the toung of the cart. When you get to the yard just unhitch the trailer and put the sulky back on. I've used the setup mentioned at the top of the post since before I got my truck and I have had only one person say something about it, but when I asked if it would make sense for me to load up the truck and drive over there when their yard is just down the street, they admitted they didn't think of that and never said anything about it again.
