becoming a distributor

Has or does anyone sale fertilizer on the side of running your business? If anyone has, what are the pro's and cons of this. What all was involved to get started? The idea popped in my head and started to think if this would be something to think about. Your thoughts please.

You must test and be licensed for each type of item you sell.

Pesticides/Herbicides (also for restricted use)

Seed

Fertilizers

Keep large quantities on hand.

A distributor or as I think you mean dealer, It is not worth the hassles.

If you have an unlimited line of creadit go for it.

Distributor, need a wharehouse, that will allow semi trucks to load and unload. Does not sell to the general puplic, but to dealers. Keeps huge amounts on hand to then send to dealer.

Dealer sells to general public, or whom ever they allow.
