The Fastraps are awesome. They are very quick to secure and there is no motion even when turning.

Nice, I think I will invest in those this season also as they are not that expensive if I recall. And I use an angle grinder for my blades and it work fine.

Nice setup, Its good to see more successful guys out there with modest rigs. People dont seem to like small trailers etc, hey if you can get by with a 5x8 or 5x10 great, then you can pull it with a smaller truck and get 25% better fuel efficiency, thats just more money in your pocket. Good luck this year...and good idea letting your daughter help work, couldn't be a better idea

I dont mean to bring up an old thread... but i am

post some more pictures, i currently just went back to a 6x12 and actually really like the smaller trailer. i started out with a 5x8, then 6x12 for two weeks then got the 16 footer... I want to be more efficient and think that this is the best way. so do you have days where you take only the gravely then the dixie? thats the only thing i didnt like about a 5x8 was having to only have one of my mowers on it. now with my grandstand and 6x12 I can easily get another wb or even rider on it.

Nice stuff by the way, i really like the frontiers

Yes I organized my route for "gravely" days and "dixie" days but it is not that big of a deal for me because my furthest account is only 8 miles away. I can come home, switch mowers, and be back to work in 25 minutes max. I seriously considered getting a bigger trailer which fit both mowers. I have two kids which need to be taken to the orthodontist, dropped off at friends etc. and with the smaller trailer I can zip in and out of parking lots, drive thru's etc without much hassle. This coupled with the increased efficiency were the reasons I decided to keep the smaller one. It works for me. As requested, here are some more pics.

Anks your setup has made me think of new ways to do things. I really like all the rakes, shovels etc in the corner. The weedeater rack too. Id get a backpack blower and that'd really speed up your cleanup. I had a craftsman back pack blower too, it was old as hell but ran great and it blew harder than my br550. Then one day... just stopped working. I think it was the coil pack but not positive. So I used a bg55 and man that was the difference of night and day. I bought another bp and its great
