New guy here

Hello all, my name is Paul and I have been in the building/ hardscape/landscape business for 8 years, I mostly service my existing clients and am proud to say I've not had to advertise in five years. I chose busted blade as my name here because it was the name given to me by my boss, years ago when I ran a brushhog over a manhole, I guess you guys can guess the rest.
I hope to learn alot here as I realize my 9 years is nothing.

Can you post a picture on here of that brushhog? I imagine the manhole won the battle...

Welcome!

It was years ago, as I recall it was a woods 7' mounted on a Ford 3900, I spent countless hours on that thing. We had a contract to do a monthly mow of a retention area, roughly 2,500 x 1,000. Problem was the 3900 was 2wd with turf tires...had to get momentum and be aware of wheel spin...and watch out for manholes.

Nobody was in it but, to this day I can still hear that awful sound and the smell of clutch burning.
