Its kind of a pile, both cab corners and rockers are completely shot, its had a hard life. Truck has been for sale since like september the guy wants way too much IMO I told him if he wanted to get rid of it I'd give him $5000 for it. For that price I like dark blue chevys haha I'll find something for it to do.

Yeah, about 5K would be fair it looks to be pretty decent. Those are some mean looking tires.

To compare I sold my 2003 GMC with 6.0 vortec 130k or so with a 7ft meyer plow for less than 6 grand. Extended cab too. And that was 2 years ago this June.

I think 5k for a standard cab with no plow is pushin it, esp if its got rot. my truck was clean as a whistle.
I wanted a new truck so I didnt hold out for every penny on sellin mine.

Find me something better then. There is NO used truck market right now. I sold that '92 I had for a little while with the worst of the 3 plows I had for $4100. It only had 63,000 miles on it and wasn't totally roached but had some issues and it was the point where it needed to go away. And the guy even said "I hate to pay you this much but theres no market" and hes right. Theres no market for used trucks right now so whats out there is out there and it is what it is. Hate to say it that way but I've been looking on and off since around Christmas, really seriously the last month or so.

I know what you mean, even around me in PA their is next to nothing I looked for almost 5 moths and really hard for about 3 before I found one at the right price for the condition.

Well if youve been on the hunt then i'll trust you know the current market and obviously better than i do at the moment. I havent been truck hunting recently so take it for whats it worth. I wonder what the deal with no good trucks is right now. Everybody maybe holding on to them. I'm sure youl find something but sounds like slim pickin's right now from what your sayin, if i get wind of anything I'll post up.

Mike, I wouldn't touch that chevy you just saw on Craigslist. All your doing I'd getting someone else's problems. Within the next month or so a lot of trucks will come on the market. Anyone who is plowing with them has to hold out until the end of march. I'm always looking and your completely right about the market. Stick with what your have right now and make some more money. Remember good things come to those who wait. That's my moto anyways

I appreciate it thanks. I think the problem is a lot of dealers have leftover 2012s right now and they are selling them so cheap that no one is getting rid of trucks because why would someone pay you 20 grand for your 2 or 3 year old truck when they can buy a brand new one for 28? My buddy is doing that, he was looking at used ones a couple years old and theres only a handful out there for sale so he just ended up buying brand new so he could get exactly what he wanted and a brand new truck for a few grand more.

Yeah I know, I'd just really like to get something here soon so that when spring hits I'm ready to go to work. I dont wanna be dealing with getting another truck ready to roll in the madness of the spring rush.

Not bad Plow looks hammered but the truck isnt too bad.

Going to check this one out on Monday its right near my shop. Guy said I can take it to my shop or my mechanic and have a look at it. He said he just wants it gone so theres room on the price. It's been for sale for quite some time but I have the feeling it may not be the truck thats the reason because it took me over 2 weeks to finally set up a time with the guy to see it, I dont think a lot of people are as patient and persistent as me haha
