New Shindaiwa Blower

I don't know how credible this information is but i thought i would share with everybody. This past Friday i stopped by my redmax dealer to get a spark plug for one of my trimmers and while i was inside i spoke with one of the guys who worked their and he told me that Shindaiwa has a new blower coming out this spring. He said this blower is going to be called the eb8600 or eb8700 or something like that he didn't know the exact model number but he did say it will be placed above the eb8520 and it will have a cfm of 880 at the tube and it may have a 4 mix engine. I don't know if this true but everytime he has told me about upcoming products he has never been wrong.

4-mix is Stihl, anyways. Shindaiwa's technology is call H4.

I think Shindy's is called C4. I am finding it difficult to believe they would have another blower this quickly, because the 802 and 8520 [i believe] is not very old. But who knows?

I believe it will have an echo sticker on it. I know they have a new one comming and they did buy shindy.

To be honest i myself am kind of skeptical of this information but actually this is the same dealer that told about the pb-770 about three months before anybody knew about it and he was right. Also this dealer told me this new shindaiwa blower will be released at the same as the pb-770. But i guess we will have to wait and see.

its called c-4, I have one. You also still have to run the mix. Very good blower although it is heavy.

They changed it to H4 (Hybrid4) since the merge with Echo. New units coming out will eventually have H4 logos.

If there is a new Shindaiwa blower coming out, I'll be very surprised. Time will tell

I'm not sure when they will change it over. The C4 model numbers will all be changed, and the new logo added.
