There play calling was soft, Saints are a good team, it was teh leadership of the team that was soft, they were merely following orders. They had better get over that come Superbowl or it will magnify very quickly for them when they are down 28-0

I don't blame Unitas for not wanting to except that, he had many good memories there, I wouldn't like it either. But the burden of the problem lays on the state government by deneying a new stadium, unfortunatly Indianapolis didn't hesitate on the idea. You can't have both, there has to be a give and take, Baltimore took but didn't give back, eventually the hand that feed them bite them good!

Why was it incumbent upon the taxpayers of Baltimore to subsidize a for-profit ubdertaking like a football franchise? How is it any better than Obama bailing out GM and AIG and the Banks?

Becasue that is how it works in any city, the state government reaped teh benefits of the Colts being there by generating extra revnue in ticket sales and products sold and local buisnesses selling there services come game day, why should they play in a run down stadium that they (local official) agree'd was needing a face lift, I think this went on for 10 years or better, it's not like it was a one way street there, they got a return on them it wasn't a all give and no return...It was a smart investment and they weren't smart enough to keep a good thing, you see Indy built a new stadium for them, they are smart. It wasn't a bailout by any means liek you are referring to with AIG and GM, and that is easily proved by them moving on, didn't need a bailout it was the States problem all along and they negelected it....

Gee, I never thought of it like that. And I never thought it would be so easy to convert me over to socialism. Gonna cheer for the team with the QB with the girl name and get me some of that hope and change.

Since I'm reevaluating all of my old assumptions, I think I might try me some green eggs and ham.

Dude the Saints have been around since 66 and one of 5 other teams not to EVER get in the Super Bowl. Can anyone name the remaining 4 - Cause the Saints are not on this list anymore.
#1 seed in their division #1 offense, NFC Championship game and did not play up to their potential - however the score was 31-28 so they did something right??? You don't score 31 points against the Vikings and suck - give me a break. And refer back to 1st sentence doesn't everyone who ever won a Super Bowl or reached one catch a break? The Saints are due theirs!
