Mowing has slacked off this year, but the other work is starting to pick up. We're really busy putting road oil bids together and getting stuff ready to roll.

Tree Roots make such nice ditches

Repairing a bad spot in blacktop lot for customer. Contractor laid about fifteen parking spots on top of dirt for $35,000. Nothing but a spongy mess.

Running like a champ, right in that 600 hr area as well. I should be pulling away from you this time of the year, but work has been slow.

Yep, we ran our Int. with about six tons of rock on to fill that hole and made about two more bad spots in the process.

Aged property owner of a small strip mall in small town that lives in the city. Husband died last year and wife doesn't really know what's up. I spoke with an asphalt friend who is working up a quote for a complete redo, they also have to put in storm sewer. In the process, they (fly-by-nighters) overlayed an exsisting area and managed to block waterway for escaping surface water. Big 'ol mess.

A before and after of a section I did for a local township.

Clearing an opening along grandpa's property line. Wild blackberries on the left are allowed to overtake the fence and the pines were planted too close to the fence. Parts are so thick that I can't see ahead. My brother is supposed to take care of this...

Noticed that my after picture did not post so here we go again.
Before

After

So about 10 days ago my dad tried to drive over an abandoned power pole with my distributor. The parts came in and we spent the better part of the weekend repairing his mistake. All I could do was bite my tongue and smile. I've been there too.
Tear down

New bar

All done

Haven't posted anything for a while, but since I'm broke down, I've got the time.

Last winter I had a few guys back out on me for financial reasons. This winter I've been dragging my feet, I've got some work to do but not enough either freezing or dry to do what is needed. I had a vibration about a month ago so I shut it down and tore it apart. Effed up a seal on the install after a week for parts. Waited another week plus for a replacement, went back out and broke that shaft in five minutes. That was Monday, today is Friday, not sure how long I will be down this time. Pretty bummed in all.

I really need to find to heavier cutter in my weight class...
