Thought it would be a safe location

Some years ago we were installing an irrigation system at a new fire station being built in early november, we got slammed with a few inches of snow one night and it pretty much ended our season, we go back a week later to grab our 16' enclosed trailer only to find the latch that held the lock was cut and a hammer drill and some other tools were stolen.

I drove over to the townships police station to make a report, as i am talking to an officer he asks me where the theft happened, I literally pointed out his window and said you see that trailer? that's it. It wasn't too funny at the time, but over the years it's made me laugh, just goes to show you that no matter where you are your stuff is not safe.

I worked with a guy once who had his house robbed. He lived to houses away from a PA state police barracks. Nowhere is safe.
