Silverado, how much is the workers comp for the owner of a LLC/Sole Proprietor going to cost? Is it on $50 per 6 months?

C'mon. We already established that it is based on payroll. Are you sure that your premium will be only $50? I still think you have some misinformation on that. I would be glad to know if I'm wrong.

Was told by a CPA that a sole proprietor can elect coverage at $50 every six months. A friend of mine looked into it and read the same thing. My wife is going to call and try and get some answers.Just was curious if anyone on here had been through this.

I have coverage on my self and I paid over $250 last year just for my self

I just found the Minimum/Maximum rates for sole proprietors electing coverage. $388 min. per week and alittle over $1000 max. per week. If no payroll, then you are supposed to enter your net income. Private employers with no payroll have to pay a minimum of $50 twice a year. Public employers have to pay $100 minimum annually. I am gonna talk to my accountant and get a better grip on this.

I don't want to take up this thread with chit-chat but I don't think you have enough posts to send or receive PM's yet. I'm from Clyde originally and my wife is from Bellevue. We're older so you wouldn't recognize the names. We lived in Fremont for 30 years and now in Findlay for 10 years.
I'm still eager to hear what silverado finds out about his Workers Comp premium.
