Want to add cage to trailer.
I want to add a lockable cage to the front of my trailer. Does anyone know where I could get this done. I'm in Charlotte, NC. How much would this cost? Thanks!!

There is lots of these types of threads in here, just use the search and you should be able to find all the info you need on trailer cages, but they will add lots of weight to the front of your trailer, and I found once I installed mine, I never used it.

I guess nobody would ever post anything on here if we just looked up everything in search. I'm sure every topic has been covered. I always love that answer, so if anyone wants to answer my original question, I thank them in advance.

I had a 24X24X77 built this winter and it cost me $350 installed....I would get a pic and bring it to a welding shop and let them give you a price.

I went and got 2"x2" angle steel, which a 20ft piece cost $25. here and a couple sheets of expanded steel which are around $60 a sheet, I spent around $200. in steel and about a day constructing it, it is pretty easy, just weld a big box with a lid. But it now sits in the back of my garage with cobwebs all over it and I use it to store junk in and on. I only had it on my trailer about a month. I found it a pain to get stuff in it as you have to climb the tongue to even get to it, Now I just use racks and a tongue storage box for the gas cans. They are just too much weight in my opinion, as most of the things you would store in it can be stored elsewhere easier, but to each his own.

Very cool. I'm not much of a welder, so it looks like I will be spending more money, but less time.
